Engineered from Aerospace-grade Nitrided steel, the ACT Mustang Pizza Steel delivers extreme thermal mass, rapid heat transfer and uncompromising consistency. Built from U.S.-milled and formed carbon steel, Mustang is designed to elevate performance where it matters the most; The Bake.
The nitrided surface not only hardens the steel at a molecular level, eliminating harmful PFOA-based coatings. It also creates a naturally non-stick finish capable of withstanding the intense temperatures your oven throws at it.
Unlike traditional pizza stones & steels, Mustang does not rely on brittle ceramics that demand tender care and gentle handling. This is carbon steel. It can take a beating.
