Returns & Refunds
ACT operates on a small-batch, engineering-driven production model. Each product is manufactured, inspected, and packaged in the United States. Because of this, returns are evaluated carefully to ensure quality feedback and fair use.
For defect-related returns, additional information may be requested as part of our internal engineering review process.
ACT designs and validates products using principles adapted from aerospace and flight test engineering, where controlled data and documented outcomes drive continuous improvement.
30-Day Return Window
We offer a 30-day return window from the date your item is delivered.
To be eligible for a return, the item must:
- Be unused and unheated
- Be in original condition, free of food residue, discoloration, or surface damage
- Be returned in original packaging
- Include proof of purchase
Cookware that has been heated, baked on, or otherwise used for food preparation is not eligible for return, unless the return is due to a verified defect or shipping damage.

Please include:
- Order number
- Reason for return or performance concern
- Photos if the item is damaged or defective
Returns sent without prior approval will not be accepted.
If your return is approved, we will provide return shipping instructions and, where applicable, a prepaid return shipping label.
Damages, Defects & Shipping Issues
Please inspect your order immediately upon delivery.
If your item arrives damaged, defective, or exhibits unexpected performance, contact us within 48 hours of delivery.
ACT products are evaluated using a structured, test-driven process, similar to flight test and engineering validation programs. To support accurate root-cause analysis, we may request:
- Photos or video of the item
- A description of the observed issue or anomaly
- When and how the issue was first identified
- Any relevant usage context (oven type, temperature range, duration)
This information allows our engineering team to document findings, assess contributing factors, and improve future production runs. Documented findings may be retained internally to support corrective action and future design improvements.
Non-Returnable Items
We do not accept returns for:
- Items that have been used, heated, or cooked on
- Sale or clearance items
- Gift cards
- Custom or limited-run prototype products (unless defective)
If you are unsure whether your item qualifies, contact us before initiating a return.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges.
To receive a different item, return the original product (if eligible) and place a new order once your return is approved.
European Union Customers
If your order is shipped into the European Union, you may cancel or return your order within 14 days of delivery, in accordance with EU consumer law.
Returned items must be unused, unheated, in original condition, and in original packaging.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of approval or rejection.
Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method within 10 business days.
