For now:

Before First Use (Required)

• Wash the steel with soap and water to remove any residual oils from manufacturing and handling
• Dry completely before placing in oven
• Steel wool is safe to use if needed

 

Initial Use

• Preheat oven to 500–550°F
• Place steel on middle or upper rack
• Heat for 45–60 minutes before cooking
